My friend Wendy just posted a podcast about her thoughts on dopamine and social media. This is incredible and well worth a listen for anyone interested in mindfulness, intentionality, and using social media intelligently.
Her analysis of the pros and cons of social media is persuasive, too; she considers it in far more depth than I did at the beginning of the year, when I decided to give up Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. for the year, and her conclusions, in conjunction with a few Gary Vaynerchuk books I’m about to read, actually make me look forward to getting back into social media in a considered, considerate way.
It is worthy of a listen, and she’s a very worthy person.
